Plums anyone?

(...and this is just a 1/3 of them)

Anyone have any good recipes? We're gonna have a real plum situation on our hands in just a few days.

Brown a cup of plums and 1/4 cup sugar (or more to taste) in 2tb butter. Add 1/2 cup madeira (or cooking sherry if you must) and 3-4 tb of lemon juice. Maybe a tb of flour or cornstarch. Cook 3 minutes until thickened. Serve over vanilla ice-cream.

I don't have any recipes, but I LOVE plums. I'll take some off your hands. hehe.
